After breakfast, our driver will take us outside the city of Pamplona to your walking start point in Cizur Menor. You’ll walk 8.5 Km up to Alto del Perdon, a 260 m ascent.
From the top of this hill, the view is spectacular: on one side you can observe the city of Pamplona with the Pyrenees behind. On the other side, we have the Navarra Plain.
From here we’ll drive to your accommodation in La Rioja.
Have some time to yourself shower, eat, rest in preparation for your cultural experience later in the day.
La Rioja is the most famous wine region in Spain, a wide expanse between mountains crossed by the Ebro river (the main river in Spain) with a microclimate that creates the perfect conditions to grow these remarkable vineyards.
In the afternoon, we’ll meet in the Foyer to go to Elciego for our visit to Bodegas Marques de Riscal, one of the oldest and most reputed wineries in La Rioja.
Here we will indulge in a tasting in the winery and explore this unique building; an architectural wonder created by genius Frank Gehry winner of Pritzker award.
After your vineyard experience, we’ll have an exclusive dinner at a renowned restaurant.
