When the pilgrimage from Santiago to Fisterra was made official, the Fisterrana Certificate was created. An official document certifying that the “end of the world ” has been reached!
This Fisterrana Certificate has been issued by the Town Council of Fisterra since 1997. The accreditation is given when you show your Pilgrim’s Credential a passport you carry with you and stamp daily. Always have your hotel stamp it as a record of where you have been, then through the day many points of interest such as parishes, historical sites, bars and many other sites within the towns you pass through will have stamps.
