Camino Family

#hercamino - Women's Guided Group

Those who have walked Camino de Santiago will tell you about their Camino Family.

Daily you stop at different villages and stay in varying types of accommodation yet a group of people forms who you continue to cross paths with.

With people moving to their own rhythm, you think you will never see them again. Then all of a sudden there they are. Familiarity builds as you share stories of your lives, comfort settles within as faces become familiar. It is good knowing that someone else knows that you are there. You find yourself looking out for others also, it is a very inclusive environment if you allow it to be.

Camino de Santiago has you having conversations that you would normally not have. You get to know people on a deeper level at a much quicker pace. Lifetime relationships are built for many, and I have heard of many Camino love stories also❤️. Your perception of another culture, or your ideas around the style of friends you have will shift… and that can change your life forever.

When you arrive in Santiago your Camino Family will be present on the same day. Whether orchestrated or not, most will tell the tale of the connections they built and the celebrations they shared at the end of their Camino Journey

Buen Camino!
